FOUNDER’S MESSAGE

First and foremost, we wish to affirm to stakeholders of the SBTC, that founders of the institute are expert administrators and educators. Who came together with a shared vision, commitment and purpose of transforming lives and communities through provision of accessible, affordable, and sustainable ethical technical training for a dynamic world.

Recognizing the inherent value and potential within every individual, irrespective of their socio-economic background, abilities, or circumstances, the college is dedicated to creating an all-inclusive learning environment that fosters growth, resilience, and empowerment.

In the spirit of collaboration, and compassion, we pledge to:

  1. Ensure Affordable quality technical education remains within reach for every aspiring student, eliminating financial barriers and promoting equal access to opportunities.
  2. Incorporate Sustainable principles and practices into our curriculum, operations, and community engagements, nurturing citizens to be committed to the well-being of our environment and ecosystem.
  3. Engage actively with and Empower local communities, listening to their needs, harnessing their strengths, and co-creating solutions that drive positive social change, economic development and cultural enrichment and commercialization.

  1. MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR

Kenya development blue print as enshrined in Vision 2030, envisages a just, equitable and prosperous nation with a key focus on three pillars: economic, political and social. In this respect Vision 2030 offers a chance to respond to inadequacy of critical skill set for development, which in turn reduces poverty and implore on opportunities and equity.

Agreeing with the vision provides excellent opportunity to institute interventions that enable youth to develop special skills for wealth creation and industrialization. Quality Technical Education is and will remain to be key contributor to improvement of life standard, and by extension help mitigate life threatening effects of bad culture, globalization and unethical competition and challenges such as of climate change.

To that end SBTC is registered with TVETA in accordance with the TVET Act 2013, and in compliance with regulatory authorities. The College is located in Oloosirkon-Sholinke Ward, Kajiado East Sub-County and Kitengela Municipality in Kajiado County. It is stationed adjacent to Serian Street,7 km off Magadi Road junction in Ongata Rongai township along Ongata Rongai-Kitengela Road. The College is gearing towards admitting trainees in March, June and September for various courses with ICT as a flagship program.

SBTC is a private TVET and Health tertiary institute offering various enhanced diploma, certificate, and Artisan programs in the area of Business, Technical and Health to local, national, regional, and international customer base. The college targets both the young and mature persons in society. It will mostly serve local clientele in both Kitengela and Ngong municipalities, targeting persons who are interested in enriching their skills and development of innovative ways to offer solutions to societal challenges.

In essence the founders are committed to promote access by providing all necessary financial support that will spur growth through infrastructure development, program expansion and refurbishment and enrollment as they maintain a fee structure that is reachable to all families. Detailed financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring will be essential to ensure financial sustainability, effective resource management, and the successful implementation of the college’s educational mission and objectives.
