a) ADMISSION PROCEDURE
A candidate must satisfy the general admission criteria for Diploma and Certificate programmes.
Admission Requirements for Diploma programme
- A mean grade of D and above in KCSE OR
- A certificate of foundation or bridging courses from recognised institutions OR
- A portfolio for the purpose of recognition of prior learning.
Admission Requirements for Certificate programme
- KCPE certificate OR
- A portfolio for the purpose of recognition of prior learning
SBTC provides for Online admission and thus encourage potential applicants to check admission requirements to the program of interest, which includes:
- providing past academic records, digital passport photograph, National Identity card/Passport or Birth certificate and Bank slip or fee Payment details.
- Complete the online application forms, checking all the details while filling out the application form to be accurate and uploading required documents and submit.
- This will be followed by tracking the application online.
b) REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
To be registered into the program of choice, the applicant shall:
- Produce a valid fee statement from the student finance office showing clearance for registration and present original documents for verification.
- College registration must be done within the first four (4) weeks of each term.
- Registration for course units shall be done within the first three (3) weeks of the term subject to the fulfillment of the school/institute registration requirements.
- Course registrations do not qualify a student to sit for the University examinations.
- Any student who has fee arrears from the previous term will not be allowed to register or proceed to the next term until they have cleared the outstanding fees; such a student would be advised to apply for academic leave on financial grounds.
